DATSDongkhamxang Agriculture Technical School (DATS) is a public Technical Education Institute (TEI) under the responsibility and supervision of the Department of Vocational, Technical and Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MOE), Lao PDR. Its main duty is to train young people in the agricultural system in order to serve the national socio-economic development plan of the future. Engineers Without Borders objective is to help people in developing communities to make improvements to their lives in a sustainable manner. EWB currently supports LIRE through volunteer engineers, assisting LIRE to develop and implement a number of renewable energy systems and train LIRE staff in the installation and maintenance of these key technologies. |
