Project preparation

• Phase 1: An idea is formulated and put forward by anybody for discussion and for finding suitable interested partners. An idea-form is provided for this. These ideas are uploaded and accessible in the ideas-section.
• Phase 2: The idea may be further developed by various agencies up to the point where it becomes ready for funding. A proposal-form is provided for this. The stepwise evolvement of each project proposal can be tracked in the proposals-section . Concerns of intellectual property are taken care of by the agencies making the proposals. The LIRE board decides when a proposal can become a LIRE project.
• Phase 3: Fully developed and approved LIRE projects, ready for implementation but still looking for funding are posted in the fundraising-section .

Programs of LIRE:

These are larger efforts that combine several ongoing and planned projects and attempts to achieve competence in Laos for exploiting a certain line of renewable energy.

Jatropha Program: Works on the potential of Jatropha curcas as a source of energy in Laos.
